Atahide Tirado Acosta is part of our teaching staff, she is considered as one of those teachers who has been educated in a significant way.
This professor has received important academic degrees. She is known as a professor who is very responsible, flexible and one of the most important things is that she is recognized and admirable by her great performance as professor in our institution.
It is a privilege to mention that this professor has been excellent as a teacher and in the same way, as a student.
She enrolled at UPEL in 1987 as an English student and in 1992, she became teacher. Specializing in foreign language, English mention.
After her graduation, she was not satisfied with what she had achieved and continued studying.
In 2001, she got a Master in Linguistic, but of course, that was not enough for a teacher like her. She wanted more, not only in terms of works, but also in academic formation, she wanted to do things that made her feel ready to choose on a charge of not only teaching, but also, a charge that allowed her to grow and emerge in our university.
Until 2001, Atahide Tirado had achieved a master in Linguistic and she had been working as a Grammar teacher at UPEL, but in 2008, she reached one of the greatest goals for a professor.
What it is true is that it is privilege for our university to count with an important, admirable, and prepared teacher as Atahide is.
Her studies and academic formation have made her to get important charges in our university; she worked in academic extension as a coordinator; another important performance was at unit planning where she had the highest authority, in few words, the head of that unit, but this professor not only worked with the English language, instead of that, she was interested and related with research until the point of becoming the core research coordinator (NILEC)
As it is evident, Atahide is a professor whose studies have been recognized by many and it has been taken into account.
Her performance and academic formation made her be like she is, an excellent professor and as student was always one of the best of her group; when she graduated in 1992 she got an honorable degree “Magna Cum Laude” (UPEL-IPM), years later, she made her application of the degree as Doctor to have obtained one of the three highest rates during the course of doctoral studies, (It is important to mention that this level does not give honorary mentions)
As you can notice, her academic formation, performance, career have been very, very interesting, haven´t they? But it remains to be said about this wonderful professor.; we have mentioned interesting things about her career, profession, charges and so on, but what about her publications, would you like to know about it?
